Biohazard

Biological hazards are substances that pose a threat to any living organisms. Biohazards can stem from chemical spills, flood damage and pooled blood. Biohazards come in the form of micro-organisms such as bacteria, viruses and fungi, found at almost every incident.

Blood or viral pathogens are present during biohazard cleaning and are responsible for the spread of diseases such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, MRSA, Syphilis, Noro Virus etc. In these cases a professionally trained person should be called, not only for the clean up, but for the disposal and the correct sanitisation to prevent further spread. In some cases Hepatitis B can be found up to eight weeks after the incident has happened.

At Premier we have been trained by the National Academy of Crime Scene Cleaners. We are fully accredited members and work with the academy carrying out all types of jobs.
